Introduction to the Cultural Mindset 

This workshop provides a two hour introduction to CM. The goals are:

• Developing awareness of your cultural identity and how its shapes thinking and behavior

• Overview of the THINK-KNOW-DO roadmap

• Understanding of the idea of “Culture Just Is” (CJI)

• Review of basic ways of increasing your cultural mindset using the roadmap

Developing a Cultural Mindset 

This workshop provides an in-depth one day workshop on Cultural mindset. The goals are:

• Developing in depth awareness and knowledge of your cultural identity and how its shapes thinking and behavior

• Detailed workshop using the THINK-KNOW-DO roadmap:

  • Self-awareness of culture and its impact on how we think

  • Understanding of the idea of “Culture Just Is” (CJI) and how it impacts your thinkingAcquiring knowledge of cultural differences and ways of looking at culture

  • Understanding your biases and how they impact your behavior

  • Knowledge of cultural differences and prototypes

  • Acquiring tools to learn how to suspend judgement

  • Acquiring tools to interact more effectively across cultures
